ABOUT THE COURSE
The Kendra has the professional competence and infrastructure for holding various examination in Fine Arts (Painting). It holds two examinations in a year i.e. Annual and Bi-Annual (from PP-1 to Visharad final). The Annual examinations are held during the month of December/January and Bi-Annual examinations during the month of August/September every year. The Bhaskar examinations (6th and 7th year) are held in the month of August/September each year. The Kendra awards the diploma to the successful candidates.
The courses for the examination have been designed and graded after careful consideration and planning in collaboration with the recognized experts so that they meet both academic and professional requirements. Weightage is also given to methodical learning upholding the highest norms and standards on the lines of universities and examination boards. All the examinations of the Kendra are conducted on a date and time notified by the Kendra as per date-sheet of examinations through affiliated centres by appointing examiners (both theory and practical) under a well-guarded arrangement employing all the safeguards necessary for conducting such professional examinations.
The most notable feature is that the University Grants Commission has declared in unambiguous terms that the certificates and diplomas awarded by the Kendra may be treated as equivalent to degrees awarded by Universities for the purpose of employment.
