Smoke painting is an interesting activity, which is done very carefully. Smoke painting is done on rough and hard paper. The crafty use of pastel colours and smoke from the incense produces a mesmerizing effect. After painting with a pastel colour on the paper, the paper is completely blackened by incense. Then the smoke is scratched by a cutter or other sharp tool to give effect to the painting. Works like nature or figurative look very beautiful in smoke painting.
